At Discovery Tree Academy, we believe that kids need nature in their lives. Nature is a great way to stimulate their different senses while also encouraging them to stay active as they climb, jump, and explore their surroundings.
DEVELOP SKILLS
As children grow, it’s important for them to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. As they participate in different activities, they will have opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Working through different projects independently will help them with their independence and decision-making skills. While all of our activities are fun, they are also aimed at helping children develop integral life-long skills.
DISCOVER UTAH
In Springville and Payson, we don’t have to leave our home state to find beautiful places to explore and discover. With Utah as our playground, our summer camp immerses children in Utah’s history, culture, and beauty. We will travel from Ogden to Beaver, Wendover to Park City.
SCREEN-FREE FUN
Our goal is to get your children away from the screen and out enjoying nature. According to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), children between the ages of 8 and 10 can spend about six hours a day in front of a screen. Instead, have your child spend the entire day outside, away from the screen!
TEAMWORK
Teamwork is a valuable tool that children will use for their entire life. Our summer camp is filled with opportunities to develop this tool, whether they’re sharing supplies for an art project or trying to complete an activity that requires everyone to coordinate together.
